INTRODUCTION
In a society where mental health is becoming increasingly important, it is crucial to start early with preventive measures, especially aimed at children and young people.
The Norwegian Directorate of Health has made significant progress in offering support and resources to promote good mental health among young people. Through various initiatives and self-help tools, they actively work to combat challenges such as anxiety, depression and addiction.
Youwell has had the pleasure of collaborating with the Norwegian Directorate of Health to develop and implement several innovative self-help tools that contribute to strengthening the mental health of the population. Our solutions are tailored to meet the unique needs of different target groups, from children and young people to adults struggling with specific challenges.
BACKGROUND
The background for the Directorate of Health's focus on mental health and self-help tools lies in the growing awareness of the importance of mental health in today's society.
Mental health problems have become a significant public health challenge, and there is a growing need for easily accessible and effective resources that can help individuals manage their mental health challenges.
Increasing numbers of stress, anxiety and depression, especially among young people, have led to a greater demand for tools that can provide support and help outside of traditional healthcare services.

RESULTS AND PROFITS
Through these solutions from Youwell, the Norwegian Directorate of Health has been able to reach a broad target group with effective and accessible tools to improve their mental health. Some of the key gains include:
Increased availability: Digital solutions that are accessible to everyone, regardless of geographical location or economic conditions.
Reduced stigma: Anonymous and self-directed tools lower the threshold for seeking help.
Prevention: Early intervention through these tools can prevent the development of more serious mental health problems.
Support for young people: tools that give young people the resources they need to deal with mental challenges effectively.
These self-help tools are part of the Norwegian Directorate of Health's comprehensive investment in supporting children's mental health and well-being. By providing easily accessible resources online, the Directorate hopes to reach as many people as possible and provide them with the necessary support and guidance.
While the self-help tools are useful, the Directorate of Health emphasizes the importance of seeking professional help for serious mental health problems. They encourage anyone who is struggling to contact healthcare professionals or other qualified professionals for more intensive support and treatment.
At a time when mental health is one of our biggest challenges, measures such as these from the Norwegian Directorate of Health are crucial to ensure that citizens get the support they need to thrive and cope with life.
