Sleep well

Sov Goodt is a guided web-based program that aims to assist parents of infants and toddlers with sleep difficulties.

SOLUTION Online, guided self-help to assist parents of infants and toddlers with sleep difficulties. Sleep well is a research project initiated by the Regional Center for Children and Young People's Mental Health (RBUP) with support from Stiftelsen Dam. The project will investigate whether web-based, guided self-help can assist parents of infants and toddlers with sleep difficulties.

The content of the project has been produced by RBUP and is presented in the app, which will be used by parents participating in the study. ABOUT SLEEPING WELL GUIDED SELF-HELP

Parents receive guided self-help to endure crying for 2 weeks, but which measures progress and motivates along the way, based on the parents' mood.

Parents can feel unfit as parents if their children struggle with sleep. They may end up on online forums with various advice from many sources, which only ended up confusing them. Parents need something that can give them advice without judgmental pointing fingers. Sov Goodt must be honest, empathetic and motivating.

IN THE APP YOU CAN

  • Map the family's current situation

  • Present a customized program to parents

  • Motivate the parents to complete the program

  • Let the health nurse see data from the app and follow up on the families

  • Offer RBUP a tool to complete their research in a user-friendly tool
