Frequently asked questions about pricing
How is the price calculated for our organisation? +
The price consists of three parts: a fixed monthly Operating Licence (covering operation, management, security, and support); a variable monthly price based on the number of active patient pathways; and any use of add-on services, which is optional. Book a demo, and we'll work out an estimate together with you.
What counts as an active patient pathway? +
A patient pathway is counted as active when the patient has access to it during that particular month. This is what's counted when calculating the variable cost - not how much the patient actually uses it, or how long the pathway has lasted in total.
Do we pay for patient pathways that are no longer active? +
No. The cost is only calculated for the months a patient pathway is actually active.
Can we start small and grow over time? +
Yes. You can build and use as many programmes and users as you like within your category - it's the number of active patient pathways that determines the cost. It's also possible to change category later, from Standard to Extended to Group, if your needs change.
What's the difference between Standard and Extended? +
Standard suits you when you don't need an internal hierarchy. Extended lets you set up multiple units in a hierarchy, with inherited settings, configurations, and simple user administration across units.
What does the Group category involve? +
Group suits groupings of multiple organisations under one umbrella, where scope and price are tailored to the size of the group.
What is Launch-ready support? +
Launch-ready support is our help building the entire programme - from idea to active use. We follow the whole process together with you, and this is delivered as a fixed monthly price for as long as the build process continues.
What does implementation and benefits realisation involve? +
Benefits realisation is the whole reason for digitalising in the first place - but the shift to new digital ways of working can be demanding for many organisations. We help create an implementation plan, so the benefits are actually realised in practice. This is priced as needed.
Is training included? +
A minimum level of training is included in the licence, as a one-off cost at start-up. The scope of included training varies between categories - Research, Standard, Extended, and Group. If you want more, additional training packages can be ordered as an add-on.
Is there a minimum contract period? +
Contract terms, including any minimum period, are agreed as part of your offer. Get in touch for details.

Youwell is MDR Class IIa, ISO 27001-certified, and GDPR-compliant.
