Digital self-help tools have long been an important low-threshold offering in mental health. But the Youwell platform is used for much more than that - through the collaboration with ForHelse, the national research centre for digital health services, programmes with closer guidance and clinician follow-up are also being built.
One example is Sidekick, used in the Municipality of Bergen. Experience so far shows that young people get concrete tools and a sense of mastery earlier in the course of their difficulties than they would otherwise have.
Youwell delivers the platform for the programme, which is part of ForHelse - the national research centre for digital health services.
