Youwell co-organises Ukraine-Norway exchange on psychological rehabilitation in Bergen

Youwell is co-organising the Ukraine-Norway Exchange on Psychological Rehabilitation 2027 (UA-NO Trauma Recovery Exchange), a round table seminar in Bergen. The project is led by CodeIT Innovation AS and funded by HK-dir's Ukraine Competence Programme (UA-KOMP).
The war in Ukraine has created a large and growing need for long-term psychological rehabilitation among veterans, their families and war-affected civilians. Ukrainian organisations have built deep, practical expertise in treating war trauma under extreme conditions. Norway brings strong clinical research and digital treatment infrastructure. The seminar connects the two, creating a meeting point for knowledge exchange and future collaboration.
Youwell is a Bergen-based digital treatment platform used across Norwegian health regions. At the seminar, Youwell will share its experience with digital treatment and explore, together with the participants, how digital tools can help mental health professionals reach more people in the Ukrainian context.
Ukrainian clinicians are treating trauma on a scale few health systems have ever faced. There is a great deal we can learn from them, and we hope our experience with digital treatment can be useful in return. We are proud to help bring these communities together in Bergen.
- Hallgeir Varsi, CCO of Youwell
The seminar will bring together Superhumans Center, NGO Free Choice, EMDR Ukraine, Human Recovery Lab and Lubart Suprovid with Youwell, and Norwegian health and research institutions will be invited. Sessions will cover the Ukrainian and Norwegian rehabilitation landscapes and identify needs, competencies and possible areas for cooperation.
The project is organised by CodeIT Innovation AS, with Youwell as co-organiser and the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (NUCC) as information partner. Read CodeIT Innovation's announcement.
