Youwell and the Regional Center for Children and Young People's Mental Health, Health Region East and South ( https://www.r-bup.no/no ) have entered into an agreement to use the Youwell platform. RBUP is working to develop an online guidance service for parents of children aged 0-5. When the offer is launched as planned in 2021, it will be a method to be used for services aimed at supporting parents through demanding phases in infancy and early childhood ( https://www.r-bup.no/no/vi-deler/forskning /online-parental-support ).
Up to 20 per cent of infants and toddlers may show signs of various difficulties beyond what is usual. There may be sleeping difficulties, excessive crying or breastfeeding/feeding difficulties. This can give parents extra challenging days and for some it can also mean the start of bigger and more persistent challenges.
RBUP has a unique professional environment in children's and young people's mental health and has, over many years, built up unique expertise in this area. With great international success, they have quality assured and researched programs for pregnancy depression. Youwell is therefore very happy to be able to contribute by making our technology available to RBUP.
