Therapist portal for the treatment of mental health - NSCC

-Today I am sending the first invoice, with VAT, out of the house. It is certainly a milestone. Until now, we have only spent money, says Jonny Klemetsen, who has developed the Youwell platform together with a small team.

Youwell is a digital platform that they hope will become a digital therapy square for psychologists, therapists and other actors who offer today, and who will in the future offer, digital treatment within cognitive training and mental health. The portal is aimed at psychological specialists, therapists, supervisors and end users, and is designed to offer training programs using video, audio and text, screening tools to measure situations and see development, quizzes and questions as tools in communication and to measure knowledge level, efficient distribution and adaptation of training programs to the person in need of help as well as secure communication and data collection between the psychologist and the person in need of help.

-From the summer of 2017, we have been working hard to develop the platform. It is therapists and psychologists who create the content. Our task is to develop a practical and useful platform for this service, says Klemetsen.

Jonny Klemetsen and Per Kåre Otteren are the IT advisors and developers who welcome visitors to the sea house premises of the consulting company Sonat in Sandviken in Bergen. It is here, literally on shaky ground, that the Youwell platform is being developed. From 2013 until Christmas 2018, the platform was called Psyktools.
